Working with the Engineering Services teams around the Walt Disney World &reg Resort, the Disney Pin Team was able to obtain actual pieces of Disney Attractions, some of which have been retired. This is the first pin in this collection which features Nautilus and actual pieces of the porthole from the attraction under a clear bubble dome on the pin. This gold-finished pin shows the Nautilus submarine pointing left, with a giant squid attacking it from the rear. The bubble is above the conning tower. Background is blue water. 1 3/8″ H x 1 3/4″ W. This is an actual piece of the submarine from the fantastic Walt Disney World attraction. The 20,000 Leagues submarine voyage was part of Walt Disney World when it opened in 1971 and sadly closed its hatches forever in 1994. This is a actual passenger seat from one of the Nautilus subs– maybe the one you sat on! Measures approximately 16″ x 15″ and weighs a hefty 15 pounds! Seat is designed with a spring mechanism to flip up and out of the way when passenger stands, with two screw or bolt fittings which could be used to attach it to the wall of your collectibles or game room. Shows wear consistent with use on the attraction and the dismantling of the subs. A rare opportunity to own a piece of an extinct Disney attraction. Adult size 36 quilted denim uniform jacket with size 30 x 32 denim pants. This was the Nautilis operators cast member costume for use only at Walt Disney world tomorrowland 20,000 leagues under the sea exhibit. Exhibit opened October 14, 1971 and ended in 1994. Both have Walt Disney World label sewn in. On the jacket on the front left breast is the N nautilus Patch which replaced the metal badges in 1984. Please use pictures as part of my description. Extremely rare WDW 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea vintage ride vehicle seat, stool. I purhased the item from The. Mouse Surplus shop in the mid 90s after they scrapped the submarine vehicles. They were the salvage company that stripped the submarine. This piece has so much sentimental value to me, as I probably sat on it as a little boy lots of times as I spent countless hours at this attraction. I truly don’t want to part with this item, but must due to financial reasons. Condition is Used, as in many years, October 1971 through September 1994.
