The original sign was used as a temporary Fastpass sign for “The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh” attraction in the Magic Kingdom that opened June 5, 1999 taking the place of Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride. Started in 1999, the Fastpass system was a complementary program that guest inserted their park pass into machines at kiosks in front of attractions to receive a paper Fastpass ticket. Guest would give it to cast members when it was time to board the ride, much different than today’s system. Signs like this were used before the stationary signs were installed.
