Disney Beach Club Villa Resort. Mickey & Friends at the Beach Bedspread. VERY RARE – AS IS. This listing is for a retired Disney Beach Club Villa Resort KING SIZE BEDSPREAD with MICKEY MOUSE & FRIENDS at the BEACH. This bedspread design was used in the resort rooms back in the early 2000s and is VERY RARE and hard to find. This bed cover is a tan background with what appears to be lattice with blue flowers growing on them. There are small gold Mickey Mouse Icons in the center of the flowers. There are Disney characters depicted from scenes of different Mickey Mouse Cartoon Shorts featured in brown-tone outline drawings. There are 12 different scenes. Huey, Dewey, Louie playing on an inter-tube raft in the water. Minnie Mouse playing a guitar under an umbrella. Daisy Duck sitting on an inflatable animal water raft. A playful fish jumping out of the water. Pegleg Pete sitting on the beach making a sand pie. Donald Duck caught up in his beach chair. Pluto playing with a turtle on the beach. Mickey Mouse with his umbrella, picnic basket & water raft. A Pelican sitting on a log post. Goofy on a surf board. A sand pail and shovel next to a star fish. Walt Disney World’s Cinderella Castle made of sand with a crab next to it. This bedspread fits a KING SIZE bed. It measures approximately 76″ wide x 94″ long NOT including the 13 drop hang over on the sides and foot of the bedspread. It is machine quilted to a solid white backing. It was used at the Disney Vacation Club Disney Beach Club Villas. While it is in Good Used Condition, it does have some condition issues. I see 3 spots where it looks as though something was spilled on the bedspread while it was folded and it ran – the spots are somewhat in a straight line – and it has discolored to pinkish. The Pelican scene near the edge has this discoloration and a faint discoloration run next to it. There are no holes nor tears, but there are a few snags and loose threads on the top cover of the bedspread, as well as some typical pilling and a few snags on the underside backing. I have taken photos of a few of the areas with these issues. Condition issues aside, it would still make for a nice bedspread for any home – or – those with some creative abilities could easily re-purpose the beautiful, unique design of the fabric.
