There were 3 series issued in the first year of production (1987). The first one (this bill) contained the mistake on the top right front side which is printed as ” MAY BE USED AS LEGAL TENDER ONLY AT DISNEYLAND” This minting error was fixed in the second issued (aka Type 2) to include the expansion of the Disney Dollar to use as legal tender at Walt Disney World. The corrected bills now read “MAY BE USED AS LEGAL TENDER ONLY AT DISNLAND AND WALT DISNEY WORLD” This is a very hard to find minting error. The front of this note features the introduction of waving Mickey, who would be featured on many of the future Disney Dollars. The back of the note featured Sleeping Beauty’s Castle, which would also appear on many future Disney Dollars. This is an “A Series” note distributed by Disneyland. This bill is in circulated, pre-owned condition. There is a crease down the middle and very very very light staining on the right edge. Please view all of the pictures to determine its condition.
