1969 Discover Disneyland Sweepstakes Game Sheet COMPLETE with Coke Cap Liners
This sweepstakes game sheet provided 35 circles, located on the map of Disneyland, whereupon the participant would place the respective plastic Coca-Cola bottle liners for each attraction. These plastic bottle liners were found in the bottle caps of Coca-Cola bottles. What makes this game sheet so rare is that when a participant completed a sheet with all 35 liners, he or she could redeem it for Disney gifts. One sheet would earn a lower level prize while five sheets would win an upper level gift, such as an Adult Admissions and Ride Book (including the famous “E” ticket) or a Kodak Model 39 “FLASHFUN II” camera. It’s very difficult to find these game sheets even unused, but to discover one with all 35 liners attached is nearly impossible. Also included in this cap saver sheet is a sweepstakes coupon to win a seven day trip to Disneyland. All entries were void after September 30, 1969. This game sheet measures 16-3/4″ wide and 11″ tall and was distributed by local supermarkets. This cap saver sheet is in very good to excellent condition, with a 1/4 tear along the right edge near the bottom and discoloration due to age along the same edge. The plastic liner bottle caps are in excellent condition and are still attached to the game sheet with glue from 1969. Please view all the photos to determine its complete condition. In 1969, I collected enough liners for three complete game sheets. I can’t remember why they were never redeemed. Therefore, this is the last game sheet complete with cap liners that I have to sell. Thank you for your interest. The last photo is of the original display sign used to promote this sweepstake. If you have any questions, please contact me before purchasing.
