They are connected by an accordion-looking connector. Curved track pieces create a 61.5″ by 49″ oval around your “parks, ” villages or Christmas tree. Working headlights and “authentic Monorail” sound. According to research (never opened), this includes the sound of the driver giving safety instructions to monorail passengers who of us who have visited the parks can forget this message? – Cars have darkened windows and do not appear to open. There is some detailing in the outsides of the cars and the logo, “Walt Disney Monorail System” along the bottom of the front engine. Each train is identified by a colored stripe, and given a name according to that color. This one has red striping along the sides of the white cars.
